Enduring from home COVID’19’s impact on business security

Malwarebytes Labs surveyed 200 IT professionals from small, medium, and large (enterprise) businesses across the country to find out how they handled their organization’s transition to a fully remote workforce after COVID-19. We learned that:

20 percent faced a security breach as a result of a remote worker
28 percent are using personal devices for work (over work-issued devices)
44 percent did not provide security training focused on WFH threats after the transition At least 25 percent froze promotions and raises, laid off employees, or lost contracts
