These days, companies tend to have a hybrid IT environment consisting of a mix of on-premise, private cloud and public cloud infrastructure. But many also have a multi-cloud environment with workloads in at least two public clouds such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and, increasingly, Google Cloud.
Some are looking to migrate complex workloads, virtual machines or data warehouses, while others want to leverage their data in the cloud with functionality such as next-gen analytics—where Google excels.
