SolarWinds, a leading provider of powerful and affordable IT management software, announced the release of SolarWinds Observability, a fully integrated, cloud-native SaaS product that offers unified and complete visibility for modern, distributed, hybrid, and multi-cloud IT environments.

SolarWinds Observability allows customers to accelerate digital transformation using powerful Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to simplify the process of monitoring complex IT infrastructures. The new SaaS platform combines SolarWinds observability solutions across network, infrastructure, systems, application, database, digital experience, and log monitoring in one end-to-end solution across private and public clouds with single-pane-of-glass visibility. SolarWinds Observability helps IT Ops and DevOps teams, developers, cloud architects, and IT executives achieve maximum performance, compliance, and resilience by providing actionable business insights essential to identify and remediating issues.

The move to the cloud, hybrid IT, remote workforces, and the launch of new tech tools has created complicated IT environments for enterprises worldwide. As a result, technology professionals have reduced visibility into networks, apps, and infrastructures.

SolarWinds Observability is designed to solve this issue by offering visibility into the entire environment—in public and private clouds—and speeding up anomaly discovery and resolution. SolarWinds Observability lets IT Ops, DevOps, and SecOps teams migrate from reactive to proactive postures, ensuring maximum performance and excellent user experience no matter how distributed a business’s services are, where they run, or how often they change. SolarWinds Observability is available as a cloud-native offering on Azure and AWS clouds.

Sudhakar Ramakrishna, SolarWinds president and chief executive officer, said, “For more than 20 years, we have focused on providing customers with solutions to transform their companies digitally. Today marks a significant moment in our own transformation as we launch our most impactful observability solution to date.” He added, “We designed SolarWinds Observability to support every customer—regardless of where they are on their cloud journey—and to deliver simplicity, security, and great value to DevOps, SecOps, CloudOps, and IT Ops professionals.”

Rohini Kasturi, chief product officer at SolarWinds, said, “At SolarWinds, we’re laying the foundation for autonomous operations through monitoring and observability solutions built to empower customers to move forward on their cloud digital transformation journeys.” She continued, “With our Hybrid Cloud Observability and SolarWinds Observability offerings, customers have ultimate flexibility to deploy on a private cloud, public cloud, or as a service. We’re also simplifying our business model with node-based licensing and tier-based entitlements to support customers of all sizes.”

SolarWinds also revealed a new version of its Hybrid Cloud Observability solution. Deployed in customer data centers but proficient to be easily implemented in hybrid environments, Hybrid Cloud Observability will now feature enhanced anomaly detection capabilities powered by AI and ML. Hybrid Cloud Observability enables SolarWinds customers to migrate from on-premises to SaaS at their own pace.

SolarWinds Observability and Hybrid Cloud Observability expand on the company’s achievements in network, system, infrastructure, database, IT service management, and application management tools. Both solutions were designed utilizing SolarWinds Secure by Design principles and a rigorous adherence to a multi-layer security framework. The launch of SolarWinds Observability and Hybrid Cloud Observability fulfill the firm’s goal to introduce both SaaS and hybrid cloud observability solutions this year. Ramakrishna initially shared this goal during the firm’s Analyst and Investor Day in November 2021.

SolarWinds Observability follows up on the company’s new Transform Partner Program announcement earlier this month. SolarWinds Transform uses simple and AI-powered observability solutions to help partners accelerate digital transformation for their clients.
