Breadware, LLC, an industrial IoT product development, has successfully acquired Medium One, Inc., an Internet of Things (IoT) software company with its headquarters in Folsom, California.
Breadware enables its clients to make more informed business decisions using IoT technology with unmatched engineering expertise and simple-to-use products. Working in collaboration with companies like Gates Corporation, Contelligent, and Motocrane, experts from Breadware’s team has built a strong reputation as an IoT solution provider in different sectors.
“We are excited to integrate the Medium One IoT platform into our offerings,” said Kerry Siggins, CEO of StoneAge, Breadware’s parent company. “They bring a full-featured, ready-to-use IoT portal for any application. The Medium One team will complement Breadware’s world-class engineers and help us achieve our vision of becoming a premier turnkey IoT solutions firm.”
“This is a great fit for both Medium One and Breadware,” said David Thai, CEO and Founder of Medium One. “Breadware has an exceptional reputation for helping clients develop IoT-enabled products, and the addition of the Medium One platform will enable them to provide a fully-integrated environment for quick and easy implementation of IoT prototypes and products. We are thrilled to be part of the team.”
In the second half of 2022, Breadware plans to expand its offerings. At the same time, it will also be introducing its first hardware product for the IoT market. “In the spring, we will launch the “Slice,” a circuit board that helps reduce the time and risk of developing an IoT product,” said Siggins. “Designed with built-in, pre-certified components, the “Slice” board can easily integrate with new or existing products to add connectivity capabilities and expedite the testing and prototyping phases of development. The addition of Medium One will allow our clients to easily connect their alpha, beta, and production products to a cloud-based portal, easily accessing and visualizing the product’s data.”
Breadware will benefit its clients by presenting together with the IoT platform and the ‘Slice’ circuit board that will allow them to deploy their IoT products faster while reducing the risk of going over budget and missing deadlines. Breadware will also continue to help its parent company, StoneAge, Inc., develop industrial cleaning IoT products.
