Flat6labs Tunis is organizing the third edition of its Demo Day, Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at the Acropolium of Carthage.
The ceremony is attended by high profile public and private sector, Tunisian and foreign entrepreneurs as well as investment funds of international renown. The event is a moment of celebration of innovation, inspiration, achievements and the hard work of entrepreneurs from several cities of Tunisia since this cohort was able to bring together entrepreneurs from Tunis, Beja, Le Kef, Sousse, and Monastir. During this event, seven innovative startups presented their projects and services after a 4-month acceleration program and at the end of which startups are ready for investment. The projects touch several sectors of activity namely AgriTech, gaming, e-commerce, digital media, software development, recruitment, and robotics. This event presents an opportunity to highlight the hard and painstaking work of entrepreneurs before an audience of partners and potential investors to enable them to access not only Tunisian markets but also foreign markets.
Since the launch of the program in 2016 between Flat6Labs, the Tunisian American Enterprise Fund (TAEF), Meninx Holding and BIAT, Flat6Labs has supported 20 innovative startups in order to support Tunisian entrepreneurial initiatives and provide them with expertise and support. international standards, thanks to its extensive network and numerous partnerships. The program thus contributes to the creation of the next wave of entrepreneurs developing innovative solutions and applications, through a unique program, exploiting and developing innovation and taking part in the growth of the Tunisian ecosystem. The program also offers several investment tickets up to 600,000 DT according to the development phase of the startup and welcomes startups working in various sectors oriented to innovation and knowledge economy including education, energy, transport, Fintech, green tech, information and communication technologies (ICT), electronics and industrial solutions. Every six months, Flat6Labs Tunis launches a new acceleration cycle and welcomes project leaders from all over Tunisia to offer them a seed fund, a workspace in the heart of the capital, a personalized support program oriented on the growth of the local market but also foreign in order to internationalize Tunisian know-how, but also mentoring and individual coaching.
