DataRobot Inc, an Artificial Intelligence cloud leader, announced a fully managed version of its AI Cloud platform. This version helps businesses make machine learning software and apps quickly without coding skills.
The first-time people saw DataRobot’s AI Cloud was a year ago. At the time, the company said it could be the central hub for its customers’ AI projects by giving them all the tools they needed to handle the critical coding and software deployment tasks that help build machine learning apps.
With AI Cloud, DataRobot makes it much easier to create applications using machine learning. The platform uses AI algorithms that allow users to build tailored machine learning models without writing any code.
Instead, AI Cloud examines the data that the user wishes to process, locates the neural network that’s most suited to perform that task, and then automatically modifies it to give performance a boost. The entire process is performed with the help of a user-friendly drag-and-drop interface, making it possible for users with no coding experience to create ML models.
Users simply upload the files of data they want to analyze and highlight the parts that interest them. DataRobot then applies an algorithm to the information to any application to offer analytical capabilities.
DataRobot Dedicated Managed AI Cloud, the new version of this platform, makes it even easier for companies to use AI operations because it takes care of deployment and maintenance headaches.
Customers can now use a managed, dedicated instance of DataRobot’s AI cloud that has all the features they need for their AI projects. They may save a substantial amount of time and resources by doing away with the need to set up a platform and manage it daily.
All they must do is specify their needs for security, privacy, and where their data should live, and they’re good to go. Each Dedicated Managed AI Cloud deployment is hosted in a separate and dedicated virtual private cloud that is run, monitored, and taken care of by experts at DataRobot.
Venky Veeraraghavan, the Senior Vice President of Product at DataRobot, said that Dedicated Managed AI Cloud gives customers two clear benefits. He said, “Customers can focus on driving business results with DataRobot managing the operational elements while still maintaining their specific security requirements and taking advantage of the cloud’s evergreen deployment and new features.”
DataRobot says these are essential benefits because many AI projects in many businesses have become more complicated and involve more business units and teams. It cited a recent study by the analyst firm Omdia that shows how more than 25% of companies using AI are scaling these projects across their organizations.
Omdia analyst Bradley Shimmin said, “This represents a dramatic rise from earlier research favoring departmental deployments. It also foreshadows a substantial uptick in management costs, maintenance complexities and exposure to risk for companies electing to continue managing their infrastructure.”
