  • With the acquisition of Trustpage, Vanta can broaden its product offering, monitor security, enhance it, and show it works while also building and strengthening trust.
  • With the help of technical references, Trustpage’s technology can provide reliable answers to client security queries.

Recently, the security review automation business Trustpage was bought by security compliance startup Vanta Inc. for an unspecified amount.

Trustpage, a 2020 startup, provides an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-assisted service that can manage security checks, distribute documents, and automate questionnaires. The business is a centralized hub that rethinks how businesses convey their security posture.

Trustpage provides businesses with what it refers to as “dynamic trust centers” where they can collaborate, automate, and speed up end-to-end security evaluations and questionnaires, resulting in more satisfied clients and quicker deal cycles. Because the Trustpage platform’s question-answering extension can finish entire security questionnaires in minutes, there is no need to pay contractors to answer security questionnaires.

With the help of technical references, Trustpage’s technology can provide reliable answers to client security queries. The solution supposedly provides a “seamless InfoSec experience from start to finish” and speeds the review process.

Customers receive quicker, more accurate responses to their inquiries from vendors using Trustpage, and sellers are no longer restricted to using email, spreadsheets, and web portals as the only means of communicating trust. Vendors also have total insight into the trust process, which helps them speed up sales and better organize their roadmaps.

With the acquisition of Trustpage, Vanta can broaden its product offering, and monitor, enhance, and demonstrate security, while building and strengthening trust.

Christina Cacioppo, chief executive officer of Vanta, said, “Making security continuous, not just a point-in-time check, is more essential than ever in the face of the rising frequency and cost of breaches. By expanding our team and offerings with the acquisition of Trustpage, the conviction in our ability to achieve our shared mission of securing the internet has never been deeper.”

More than 4,000 people currently use Trustpage. The noteworthy clients include Autodesk Inc., Modern Treasury Corp., and Quora Inc. Trustpage has raised five million dollars in venture capital funding from investors such as Bonfire Ventures, Ludlow Ventures, and Basement Fund before being acquired.

In June, Vanta made headlines when it raised USD 110 million in fresh capital at an almost two billion unicorn valuation. With the investors like Craft Ventures, Sequoia Capital, and Y Combinator, Vanta reached a valuation of USD 1.6 billion.
