- ITI Limited has signed an MoU with Ilantus to address cybersecurity threat concerns in India. The new association between the two companies will offer IAM (Identity and Access Management) solutions to government agencies, defense, and PSUs (Public Sector Undertakings) in the country.
Based out of Karnataka, India, ITI Limited, on August 8, 2020, broke the news of signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ilantus Technologies. The purpose of the MoU is to provide identity and access management (IAM) solutions to the government agencies, defense sector, and public sector undertakings in India to resolve the concerns of cyber threats in the country.
Details of MoU
As per the MoU, ITI and Ilantus will work toward addressing challenges of fragmented identity landscape by leveraging IAM, which is the only solution that comprises end-to-end features in one single product.
The press release states that ITI will utilize the two-decade-old global experience exhibited by Ilantus Technologies in the IAM segment, and the companies will jointly market the solution to government organizations. It also states that looking at the current situation of threats in cyberspace, the need for IAM has climbed the demand curve in the country.
“With our market reach and resources combined with Ilantus’ product vision, we are certain this will open up several new avenues,” ITI CMD R M Agarwal said.
Operational in a captive tier-3 data center in Bengaluru, India, ITI mentioned that the company is in a confident position to offer fully secure, India-based hosting for software as a service (SaaS) and managed services across the country.
ITI also stated that the IAM solution enables businesses to identify and control access to the network system and application by end-users.
Based on a report, ITI expressed that the consumer identity and access market is expected to grow from USD 7.6 billion in 2020 to USD 15.3 billion by 2025 at a CAGR of 15.1%.
The tie-up is also an effort to deliver world-class Make in India IAM solution.
