Fuze recently broke the news of being awarded a new patent for temporary allocation and anchor address (e.g., phone numbers), adding to its “calling and communication” capabilities across the globe.

On July 7, 2020, the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) granted the cloud communications company the US Patent No. 10708441B1.
The innovative invention works toward directing incoming calls received from users in areas where SIP gateway services are not available into a shared cluster of phone numbers to connect calls to/from the intermediate carrier.
The USP of the innovation is that once the call made using the provisional number is complete, the same number once again gets to the pool and is made available once again for use. Technically, this process simplifies and expands calling services for Fuze users worldwide with a smooth caller ID interface.
