ClubsNSW recently got into a “strategic framework agreement” with a professional HR enterprise called RosterElf. The deal is signed to develop a new staff management system that can be used by up to 1150 registered clubs across the state.
The representative body got in touch with RosterElf to tailor-make its platform under the tag “ClubsHR” to manage a range of employee administration activities for registered clubs and 40,000 employees associated with them.
The basic idea behind building the digital rostering solution is to allow all registered clubs to manage staff more efficiently without a dedicated HR department.
The software solution offers features right from roster building and shift-swapping to pay calculations, digital time and attendance management, and payroll integration. Additionally, the ClubHR platform also sends real-time staff updates through emails and text messages and has a mobile app to deliver a “roster on the go.”
RosterElf Director and amp; Founder Simon Ingleson said the partnership was a “result of months of close collaboration with ClubsNSW” to deliver the HR platform.
Updates
The preliminary release for the SaaS (Software-as-a-service) platform will be made available to all registered NSW clubs; however, ClubsNSW is optimistic and hopeful that take-up success in NSW might lead to usage nationwide.
A spokesperson for ClubsNSW told mentioned in a statement that the second phase of development is planned that “will integrate more industry-specific functionality, including pre-loaded employee contract templates, performance management, and incident report creation.”
The spokesperson added, “We are also in the process of creating ClubPASS, which will allow contactless sign-in at registered clubs.”
ClubsHR is not the pilot tech solution that ClubsNSW has created considering its member clubs.
In the past, the body has been involved in building other software solutions like ClubGRANTS Online that enables clubs to apply for funding via a grant app management system.
The Director and amp; Founder’s take
In conversation with iTnews, RosterElf Director and amp; Founder Simon Ingleson mentioned, they were approached by ClubsNSW to assist with the creation of ClubsHR to meet “the exact needs of the clubs industry.”
He added, “We are planning a lot of specific clubs industry features over the next few months, and we want to get meaningful feedback as we roll out some very unique industry-specific functionality.”
“In addition, our focus is not only on an excellent product but also on providing outstanding customer onboarding and ongoing support.”
“The combination of the two factors above have led to our joint decision for a two-stage rollout.”
“ClubsHR will seamlessly bring together RosterElf’s existing technology with the specific know-how of the NSW club industry through ClubsNSW,” Ingleson said.
