Vodafone Group PLC and Google are coming together for the benefit of their clients. They will collaborate and jointly develop data services, as reported by both the company’s representatives.
In a report by Financial Times, the world will witness a new cloud-based storage and analytics portal, “Nucleus,” which will host the data of Vodafone company. For the development of this portal, 1,000 workers from the UK, Spain, and the US will join the initiative.
The “Nucleus” is reported to have the capacity to process about 50 terabytes of data a day within the cloud.
“Both companies will drive the use of reliable and secure data analytics, insights, and learning to support the introduction of new digital products and services for Vodafone customers simultaneously worldwide,” the statement added.
Both the companies will also invent a system called Dynamo. It will extract and transport data across all the countries where the telecoms company operates.
Vodafone and Google will also seek to sell consultancy services to other multinational businesses that intend to move a large amount of data to the cloud.
