It’s been a rough ride for the Bitcoin technology enterprises as they plugged from high to lows and the drop affected many individuals and enterprises. AMD and ConsenSys both had to deal with tough market conditions in which crypto transformed to bear with stock prices plumbing and downsizing the current workforce were the immediate actions being implemented.
The new partnership is between the ConsenSys, a blockchain software company, AMD a semiconductor producer and Abu Dhabi based investment firm Halo Holdings. The companies are coming together to create what is called as a W3BCLOUD that will be aimed towards AMD hardware based datacenter. ConseSys will be providing the required technology to run the infrastructure smoothly.
Joery Roskowetz, Director of Product management and Blockchain technology at AMD said in a statement that “The product will be designed keeping in mind the requirements of enterprises and also the general public, so we can have disruption at each level. The W3BCLOUD will be the first independent cloud computing blockchain to satisfy the requirements of the public and private sector.” ConcenSys recently signed a MoU with SK Group, a South Korean tech company. The initiative to build enterprise blockchain business model by using the smart contracts. AMD also recently partnered with seven major tech companies to produce eight new crypto-currency mining rigs.
