Moor Insights Paper: HPE Accelerates Digital Transformation

Moor Insights Paper: HPE Accelerates Digital Transformation

HPE
Published by: Research Desk Released: Mar 15, 2020

HPE positions the HPE ProLiant DL385 Gen10 for virtualization and memory intensive applications. This positioning aligns to where MI and amp;S sees the greatest workload affinity for the DL385 Gen10 due to its extremely high-core count, memory capacity and memory bandwidth.

While the HPE ProLiant DL385 Gen10 is well-positioned for virtualization and memory intensive applications, MI and amp;S believes the opportunity for this server extends to other applications and workloads as well. IT organizations would be well served to consider this server for high performance computing (HPC) applications. The 128 PCIe lanes in the AMD EPYC processor enables a server that can be quickly provisioned to support many workloads and applications.
