It announced initial findings from it’s August 13, 2019 launch of its free Data Discovery Tool, an integral part of the complete smart filer software product. The new data discovery tool scans of file servers from several potential smart filer customers, on average, 82 percent of the data storage scanned had not been accessed for over last six months. One of the scans even showed that their even more significant amount of unauthorized video data stored on every corporate server. The infrequently accessed agnostic and unauthorized files are set consume expensive storage media and illustrate where the businesses can cut their business infrastructure cost in storage.
